My occupation is meteorologist. <br /> <br />Q Would you explain to the Hearing Officer, please, <br /> <br />your educational background? <br /> <br />A I graduated from high school in 1957, Wanamingo, <br /> <br />Minnesota. I attended Saint Olaf College, graduated there <br />\ <br />in 1961 with a Bachelor's degree of Arts. I attended the <br /> <br />university of utah, graduated from there in 1962 with a degre <br /> <br /> <br />in meteorology; and I attended Colorado State University wher <br /> <br />I received a Master's degree in Atmospheric Science, graduat- <br /> <br />ing in 1970. <br /> <br />Q Now, Mr. Hjermstad, could you explain to the <br /> <br />Hearing Officer what your experience has been in the weather <br /> <br />modification field since graduation, since graduation from <br /> <br />college and before? <br /> <br />A I started out in the field of meteorology, as I <br /> <br />mentioned in 1961 and '62 at the University of Utah. From <br /> <br />that point, I spent two years in the Air Force as a fore- <br /> <br />caster, a weather officer. <br /> <br />Following that, I worked for about a year and <br /> <br />a half at a firm in chicago, a weather consulting firm, Murra <br /> <br />-h- <br />
