The two cloud base airoraft seeding the hail-bearing atorm
near Oighton continued until 6:58 p.m. then moved southward to look
for new storm development in the Ford-Gray-Haskell ares, ahead of
the southerly moving cold front. One plane began seeding em a
cluster of storms in Gray County, near Montezuma, at 7:52 p.m.; the
second plane joined at 8:01 p.m. Both planes continued seeding in
southern Gray County until 8:10 p.m. until the storms were on the
edge of the target area and moving out of it. One plane returned to
its base at that time, the second Checked storms in Haskell, Grant
and stanton counties before returning to its base at 8:41 p.m.

The plane seeding in northern Wallace County ended seeding
there at 7:20 p.m. then went to another developing storm in Greeley
County, about 5.miles north of Horace, where seeding was initiated
at 7:53p.m. Se~d!ng continued unt118:16 p~m. ba!or~ p~ding and
returning to its base. The fourth cloud base aircraft had
performed o~setvations on storms in various parts of the target
area during the operation, however it did no seeding. Its flight
was terminated at 9 p.m. Total flight time was 14.9 hours.

(:hu"i,,; J<~

Cu:rtis P.
