<br />20-112 (3)(g), CRS], and <br /> <br />F. is designed to minimize risk and maximize economic benefits to the <br />residents of the operation area located in Colorado or the State of <br />Colorado. [ S 36-20-112 (3)(h), CRS]. <br /> <br />DECISION <br /> <br />Because the proposed project meets all of the requirements of S 36-20-112, CRS, it is <br />hereby determined that the permit is approved with the following conditions to be more fully <br />described in the terms and conditions of the permit: <br /> <br />1. The permit shall be limited to the purpose of hail suppression and rain augmentation <br />in Colorado using cloud base and cloud top aircraft which may seed with any of the <br />following agents to generate ice nuclei: silver iodide-acetone solution, dry ice, and <br />pyrotechnics. <br /> <br />2. Said permit shall be for the period from April 22, 1998 through September 21, 1998, <br />with conditional approval given for future year's operations from April 22 through <br />September 21 of 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002, subject to the permit renewal <br />requirements of section 36-20-114(2), CRS, and subject to the Colorado Weather <br />Modification Rules and Regulations. <br /> <br />3. The applicant must pay the additional annual commercial fee of 2-percent of the <br />value of the contract should any Colorado county agree to participate financially in <br />the program. <br /> <br />4. The applicant must prepare written monthly progress reports and a final report at the <br />end of the project in accordance with the requirements of the permit. <br /> <br />5. The weather modification permit shall be further subject to such other terms and <br />conditions as are set forth in the permit. <br /> <br />6.
