On the <br />same call they will be given a specific turn-off time which could <br />be subject to change by another phone call from the meteorologist <br />at WESTERN WEATHER CONSULTANTS.LLC. Incoming weather data into <br />the forecast office ~llows a continuous monitoring of any change. <br />in conditions snd any necessary sdjuatments of termination in the <br />seeding operation. There will also be a liaison between,the <br />meteorological control office and the program participants and <br />field maintenance technicians and selected generator operators <br />located Dear the project areas as to aDY developing conditions that <br />may warrant a change in the seeding operation. <br />6) AD.y Additional Information which May Be Required to Describe the <br />Operations and the Proposed Method of its Evaluation. <br />Many des18n and operaCioE!.al features of thia program have been <br />based upon the findings and experience learned through operating, the <br />Bureau of Reclamation's Colorado River Basin Pilot Projsct in 'the <br />Upper San Juan River Basin. The placement of grouq~-based generators, <br />identification of storm syscems with favorable modification pot.ncial <br />and concern for public safety and awareness through responsible operations <br />are specifically aome of the refinements to be incorporated into the <br />proposed wintertime weather modification program. <br />An operational report will be furniahed to the program participaDts <br />and the Director of Natural Resources following each seeding season in <br />which precipitation within the project area will be indicated with any <br />pertinent comments to comparisons with respect to normal or precipitation <br />in adjscent areas. This proposed program will be operated nearly <br />identical to programs operated by WESTERN WEATHER CONSULTANTSiLLC,' dudng <br />the past 25: years in Colorado. Evaluations of these progra1ll8 have been <br />made under contrscts from the State of Colorado to C.S.U.
