<br />The pr;r1ary tar'1et area will encompass the Grand "1esa region of western
<br />Colorado within the eastern portion of Mesa County and the northern
<br />portion of Delta County (generally above the 8500 foot (msl) elevation).
<br />This area is essentially within the;J>,ranrl t1esa Nationg] Forest.-
<br />
<br />The oeneral area beyond the orimarv taroetarea which may reasonablv be
<br />expected to be affe'cted by the wea'ther modific~tion ope"rations includes
<br />easternr~esa County, the northern one-half of Delta County, the extreme
<br />northwestern part of Gunnison County, the extreme western part of Pitkin
<br />County, and the extreme southeastern part of Garfield County. This area
<br />is approx ima tely bounded by a 1 i ne from Domi nguez in western Delta
<br />County eastward throuah Orchard- City to east of Daonia (near Oliver in
<br />Pitk{n County), northward throu'Jh the White River National Forest to
<br />south of Glenwood Springs (in Garfield County), then southwest through
<br />Collbran and Mesa to east of Palisade (in Mesa County) and southward to
<br />Dominquez.
