When weather forecasts or actual storms are producing
unusually heavy precipitation amounts that could
possibly contribute to avalanches or severe weather
conditions in the project area.

b. When the Colorado Avalanche Information Center issues
an avalanche forecast warning in the project area.

c. When the Executive Director specifies that seeding
should be suspended. The Applicant shall consult
with the Colorado Avalanche Information Center prior
to seeding.

8. DESCRIBE HOW OTHER WEATHER MODIFICATION PROJECTS (IF
ANY) COULD BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY THE PROPOSED PROJECT.

To the best of our knowledge there are no other weather
modification projects being conducted in the vicinity of the
proposed target area. In any event the limited amount of
seeding that would occur with the project would not adverselY
affect other projects.

9. INDICATE HOW THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO MINIMIZE
RISK AND MAXIMIZE SCIENTIFIC GAINS TO RESIDENTS OF THE
TARGET AREA AND TO RESIDENTS OF COLORADO.

This question has been previously addressed in the answers
to questions 3, 5, 6 and 7.

10. DESCRIBE THE SIGNIFICANT ECOLOGICAL IMPACTS WHICH MAY
RESULT FROM THE PROJECT SUCH AS HOW PRECIPITATION PATTERNS
MIGHT BE CHANGED AND HOW INCREASED RUNOFF WOULD AFFECT
EROSION.

B
