<br />d. Advice, comments and recommendations of the Weather Modification Advisory
<br />Committee tendered to the Executive Director on February 4 and 5, 1977.
<br />
<br />e. Weather Modification Act of 1972, Article 20, Title 36, C.R.S. 1973.
<br />
<br />2. The nature of the proposed program is to undert,ake a commercial w~ather modifi-
<br />cation program within the project area to provide beneficial additional water
<br />supplies for recreational, agricultural, municipal and other uses.
<br />
<br />3. The Applicant'has demonstrated that the person in control of the project holds a
<br />valid weather modifi'cation license and that person is Lawrence M. Hjermstad,
<br />whose ~ddress is Durango, Colora~o. .
<br />
<br />~ 4. The applicable permit fee is $1740.00.

<br />5. The Applicant has yet to furnish proof of financial responsibility.
<br />
<br />6. The Appli,ant has submitted an operation plan for the proposed project which
<br />plan meets the requirements of C.R.S. 1973, 36-20-112 (1) (d) and which is
<br />incorporated into these findings by reference.
<br />
<br />7. The Applicant issued a Notice of Intent to modify the weather pursuant
<br />to the above said hearings in conformance with C.R.S. 1973 36-20-112 (1) (e)
<br />as modified by the Executive Director pursuant to his authority under C.R.S.
<br />1973.' 36-20-114 (3) , ','

<br />8. Said Notice of Intent was circulated to County Commissioners, newspapers, and
<br />radio stations in the following manner: '

<br />a) Three copies of Notice of Intent were mailed to the County Commissioners';
<br />one to be posted at the local Post Office,oneto be posted at the Court
<br />House,. and, one to. be posted in the office of the County Corrvnissioners,
<br />in the below listed counties: ' ,
<br />Chaffee, Summit, Eagle, Clear" Creek, Park, Grand, Lake, Pitkin,
<br />Gunnison and Garfield.

<br />b) Notice of Intent was also mailed to all County Commissioners in the counties
<br />outside the immediate project area as listed below:
<br />Gilpin, Delta, Jackson, Teller, Larimer, Ouray, Routt, Boulder,
<br />SaguaChe, Hinsdale, Jefferson, Montrose, Douglas, Mesa and Fremont.
