28.

1 is Mr. Stone's opinion as to the possibility of risk of

2 harm to land, people, heatth-,---safety,---prGperty--o-r--th.e_ -- - -

a environment.

4 BY MR. WILLETT:

5

Q Would you go ahead now, Mr. Stone.

6

A Okay. "Based on our experience of cloud seeding

7 from the winter and early spring months in the Grand Mesa

8 area, we are reasonably certain there should be no high

9 degree of risk because of the contemplated cloud seeding

10 programs.

11 "Based on an analysis of the storm types

12 associated with easily recognized weather patterns, there

13 have been and may be certain storms in which WRDC will

14 suspend operation because of forecast indicates that amounts

15 of natural precipitation would likely be sufficiently

16 heavy so that artificial seeding is not recommended.

17 "The client would be notified of this decision

18 as soon as possible." Now, I'm not sure that somewhere

19 else I haven't said, but there is an item in our contract

20 of being able to cease and desist the operation at any

21 time in our professional opinion we feel that's even

22 marginal to becoming critical for anyone in the area.

23 We have the right to terminate the operation

24 immediately; that as soon as it's terminated, then we

25 inform the client.

SUZANNE M.
