Stanton, Hearing Officer (temporary employee for the State of Colorado, Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board, Department of Natural Resources), called the Hearing to Order. <br />Asked everyone in attendance to sign the Attendance List. <br /> <br />WPS <br />Anyone opposed to weather modification? Anyone for it--unanimous. All in favor ofthe <br />permit. We need more solid statements why it's good, As this is a legal procedure you would <br />puhlish notices in papers. <br /> <br />John Smith <br />Proof ofPuhlished Notices will follow, The state requested we publish twice, in Alamosa and <br />Saquache Counties, Today, the 31 st, is the last day of the publication, Proof of Published <br />Notices will be forwarded to your office, <br /> <br />WPS <br />Ok, This will be admitted to record now with proof coming from the papers. <br /> <br />J.S, <br />We will do that. Published May 17, 24 and 3 I st in the papers, The last time we published in <br />four different counties, This was too expensive so this time published in only two counties, but <br />published three times, We needed communication and coordination to publish, It cost $400 last <br />time, plus the secretary's time. <br /> <br />WPS <br />The statutes don't address hail cannons, but new regulation will address them, <br /> <br />J.S. <br />We will suggest Mark Matulik pass on to the legislature for new rules and regulations for hail <br />cannons, We suggest Mark Matulikrevise statutes instead oflegislature, Authority for weather <br />modification permits is from what Act, Bill # _? 2CCR401-I Statute <br />(???? check out info) <br />
