<br /> <br />. -State of Colorado. - . . - <br />Weather Modification Permit <br /> <br />Permit No. 2001-2 <br /> <br />PERMITTEE: <br /> <br />Victor p, Smith, President <br />Southern Colorado farms, LLC <br />P,O, Box 416 <br />Center, Colorado 81125 <br /> <br />PERMITTED PROJECT: <br /> <br />-Commercial operation for hail suppression in summer <br />storm clouds using sequenced sound waves from ground <br />based hail canons to produce a cavitation effect in falling <br />hailstones and to inhibit the formation of ice particles in <br />the ice forming areas of cumulus cloud formations to <br />cause the natural moisture to fall as rain rather than hail. <br />The target area is described in the "Terms and <br />Conditions" herein, <br /> <br />PERIOD OF PERMIT: <br /> <br />final approval is hereby given for operations frorn June <br />15, 2001 through September 15, 2001, with conditional <br />approval given for future years' operations from June 15 <br />through September 15 of 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005, <br />subj ect to the permit renewal requirements of section <br />36-20-114(2), CRS, and of the Colorado Weather <br />Modification Rules and Regulations, 2 CCR 401-1, This <br />permit shall automatically terminate on September 15, <br />2005. <br /> <br />c,;-',-." <br /> <br />1 <br />
