irrigated land dropped to 2.59 million acres. Mr. Waskom explained the drought caused quite a
reduction and we may regain some of that, but probably won't get back to where we were before
the drought. He further said farmers and ranchers in Colorado, who had to sell much of their
cattle in 2002, will benefit by the American Jobs Creation Act which actually changed the tax
law to help them by extending the time they have to replace assets on their acreage until 2006.

Joe Lambert. Energv
Mr. Lambert reported everything was good at this time, and he had not heard of any problems
looming in relation to energy production.

Erik Bruce. OSPB. Economics
Mr. Bruce said he had nothing new to report today.

Robin Knox. Wildlife
Mr. Knox expressed his concern about the low water in the reservoirs in the southeast, because it
still impacted the fish population. He said that statewide they were a little better than last year
but still below normal. Mr. Knox also said 2004 was a non-eventful year for aquatic wildlife.
He further mentioned that fish populations are usually replaceable and that moisture was always
welcome.

Brett N. Rodewald. Parks and Recreation
Mr. Rodewald reported that the parks were able to recover the green grass from the earlier
drought years. He also said that golf rounds, outdoor pools, and water parks were impacted by
the summer weather.

Bob Steger. Denver Water
Mr. Steger stated that Denver's reservoirs were at 75% in capacity compared to 76% last year.
He said the nonnal is 85% so they are down about 10%. Mr. Steger said Denver water
customers were still doing a good job with their water use. He further mentioned that
November's average daily water use is 146-million gallons per day, while this November they
had used only 117-million gallons per day.

Stephanie Dalgar. Tourism
Ms. Dalgar did not attend the meeting today, but left word that her group was continuing to
monitor the impacts from the summer. Otherwise everything was still status quo.

Barrv Cress. Department of Local Affairs
There was not a report from Local Affairs at this meeting.

Randal Ristau. Department of Health
There was no report from Health at this meeting.

Wildfires
There was not a report on wildfires at this meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:05 p.m.
