Walker <br />Deputy Director <br /> <br />FROM: Bill McDonald <br /> <br />DATE: October 25, 1985 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Agenda Item 12, November 7-8, 1985, Board Meeting-- <br />Annual Projects Authorization Bill <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />I have already taken the liberty of requesting <br />Representative Younglund and Senator Brannon to sponsor, as they <br />have in recent years, the Board's annual projects authorization <br />bill. Both have agreed to do so. <br /> <br />The deadline for the pre-filing of bills by legislators is <br />December 1st. Under the circumstances, the Board needs to <br />recommend to Representative Younglund and Senator Brandon the <br />bill whicq it would propose for pre-filing. In this regard, <br />please find enclosed a draft bill, section 1 of which is <br />identical -to last year's projects .authorization bill. Please <br />note that the material in section 2 of the draft bill pertains to <br />agenda item 13. <br /> <br />Recommenda~ <br /> <br />I recommend that the Board recommend the draft bill to <br />Representative Younglund and Senator Brandon for pre-filing. <br />The specific projects which the Board will recommend to the <br />General Assembly will be considered at the Board's January <br />meeting.
