<br />2.1 Fund Equity

<br />Fund equity includes the sum of all outstanding project loans and the cash balance in the fund
<br />which has been invested by the State Treasurer, The total fund equity reported by the Colorado
<br />Financial Reporting System (COFRS) was $185,1 million on June 30, 1996, the end ofFY 95-96.
<br />
<br />This included approximately $96,0 million in outstanding loan principal receivable from
<br />borrowers with completed projects, $20.4 million in cash funds reserved for projects authorized by
<br />the Legislature which are under contract or under construction, $66.0 million in cash funds reserved
<br />in special accounts or for future projects authorized by the Legislature, and $2,7 million in
<br />unreserved cash, The total "cash balance" on June 30, 1996, was $89,0 million,
