Rapid Creek Dam #2 l1pstream Face and Outlet Intake

Proiect Description

The project was the rehabilitation of (he Rapid Creek Dams !:i 1 and #2 on the Grand .\le5a. The
project commenced by Walker Construction Co. of Collbran. Colorado in late fall 1994. The
project consisted of replacing the outlet works of both reservoirs including: headgates. pipes. weirs
and parshall flumes. The crest of dam :C: was also raised and the upstream face lined with
nprap.
