William McDonald, Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Agenda Item No.2, December 5, 1979, Board Meeting <br />(Construction Fund Projects - Recommended Priorities) <br /> <br />Section 37-60-122, Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, provides <br />that "The board shall submit annually to the general assembly a <br />report containing proposed facilities and contracts as described <br />in Section 37-60-119 together with an analysis of said facilities <br />and contracts proposed by the board. Said report shall also <br />include a list of said facilities and contracts in order of <br />priority suggested by the board . .. .. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />consistent with this requirement, the board staff has <br />evaluated the proposed projects listed in my memorandum of <br />December 3, 1979,same subject, and recommends the projects in <br />the Order of priority as listed below: <br /> <br />1. Rangely <br />2.. Yarncolo <br />3. Winter. Park <br />4. Beaver Park <br />5. Lone Tree Reservoir <br />6. Kelton Heights Water District <br />7. Olive street Water District <br />8. Brook Forest <br />9. ColoradO Springs <br />10. Palisade <br />11. Manitou Springs <br />12. Ute Water conservancy District <br />13. Morrison <br />14. MeadOW Creek <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The above order of priority was based on the criteria <br />established by the board staff previousiy as outlined in the <br />Guidelines for financial assistance through the boaid construction <br />fund. Inasmuch as funds made available by Senate Bill 537 for <br />fiscal year 1980-1981 do not impose a limitation, the establish. <br />ment of the above-listed priorities involved less detail than that <br />required in previous years. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />JWMcD:tam <br />
