(Construction Fund Projects - Recommended Priorities)

Section 37-60-122, Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, provides
that "The board shall submit annually to the general assembly a
report containing proposed facilities and contracts as described
in Section 37-60-119 together with an analysis of said facilities
and contracts proposed by the board. Said report shall also
include a list of said facilities and contracts in order of
priority suggested by the board . .. ..

consistent with this requirement, the board staff has
evaluated the proposed projects listed in my memorandum of
December 3, 1979,same subject, and recommends the projects in
the Order of priority as listed below:

1. Rangely
2.. Yarncolo
3. Winter. Park
4. Beaver Park
5. Lone Tree Reservoir
6. Kelton Heights Water District
7. Olive street Water District
8. Brook Forest
9. ColoradO Springs
10. Palisade
11. Manitou Springs
12. Ute Water conservancy District
13. Morrison
14. MeadOW Creek

The above order of priority was based on the criteria
established by the board staff previousiy as outlined in the
Guidelines for financial assistance through the boaid construction
fund. Inasmuch as funds made available by Senate Bill 537 for
fiscal year 1980-1981 do not impose a limitation, the establish.
ment of the above-listed priorities involved less detail than that
required in previous years.
