DATA COLLECTION AND REVIEW

Task El ement No: 1d

Task Summary Memorandum and bibl iography.

Purpose: The data colleeted in Task 1 forms the information
base for the remainder of the study and must be organized.

Approach:

1. Prepare a summary describing the collected and reviewed
information.
2. Use the collected information to prepare general
descriptions of relevant (to a storable flow determination)
existing water supply systems and water users in the
basin, as well as the general hydrologic characteristics
of the basin. This task does not include the preparation
of descriptions for the Closed Basin Project, the Rio
Grande Compact or water rights administration which are
incl uded in following subsequent tasks.
3. Prepare a bibl iography of pertinent documents, including
where they can be found.

Work Product: A task summary memorandum summarizing the
information reviewed and containing general descriptions of
the existing hydrology, water supply and water demand systems.
This memorandum will be provided to the CWCB, SLVWCD, and
USBR for review.
