A portion of this credit (18011187 or 15.16 percent) is due to use of shares provided by
Southwest Ready Mix to cover it's SWSP replacement requirements of 100,2 acre-feet. Based on
the analysis above, the Southwest Ready Mix shares will provide an average of 123 acre-feet of
replacement credits, The net excess credits available for AGUA members replacement use will
average approximately 23 acre-feet. Thus AGUA's total net credit available from the Excelsior
Ditch for it's membership averages 713 acre-feet (813-123+23).

Replacement credits from AGUA's Excelsior Ditch shares will be available to replace
depletions which accrue to the Arkansas River downstream of the Excelsior headgate located in
Section 36, T20S, R64W, or generally Reaches 2 through 18 in the Kansas Model (HIM). By
exchange, Excelsior credits should normally be available to make replacements in Reach I unless
there is a call in Reach I above the Excelsior head gate.

G:\J177~OO:;\REPORTS\AGUA97_1 RPT

22

PrintedFebruary27,1997
