Monthly pumping as a function of the annual pumping was estimated based on <br />information found in the State's groundwater accounting model for irrigation uses, and based on our <br />experience for municipal uses. Table 4 shows the monthly pumping distributions used for irrigation <br />and municipal purposes. These factors are the same as those used in AGUA's 1996 plan. Because <br />the 1996 plan year did not include pumping in April and May, and because of the summer rains <br />which tended to depress pumping, there is no solid basis at this time for changing the distributions. <br />Therefore, the factors shown in Table 4 will be used for estimating AGUA's monthly pumping for <br />the 1997 plan year.
