Divides the waters of the South Platte River between Nebraska and Colorado. <br /> <br />2. From Oct. 15 - Apr. I, Colorado has full use of the water of the South Platte <br />within its boundaries, but Nebraska will be entitled to divert some surplus <br />waters if the proposed South Divide Canal is constructed. <br /> <br />3. From Apr. I - Oct. 15, if the mean flow at the interstate stations is less than <br />120 c.f.s., Colorado must curtail diversions from the lower section of the <br />river by appropriators with dates of priority subsequent to June 14, 1897. <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />Rio Grande River Compact (1938): C.R.S. 9937-66-101, -102. <br /> <br />I. Involves Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and the United States. <br /> <br />2. Colorado must deliver water at the New Mexico state line based on runoff <br />measured at four index stations in the headwaters area of the Rio Grande. <br /> <br />3. Provides schedules of required deliveries and for accrual of debits and credits <br />in deliveries and establishes penalties against storage facilities constructed <br />after 1929 based on project storage in Elephant Butte Reservoir and debit <br />conditions. <br /> <br />13 <br />
