Menu <br /> <br />7.2.1 Layout <br /> <br />The Lag/Loss Editor dialog consists of a list of river and tributary <br />reaches arranged alphabetically along with their associated lag and <br />loss values. In addition to the reach list is a set of bunons which <br />allows the user to perform functions on the current set of lag/loss val- <br />ues (those used in curtailment and relaxation analyses), such as load- <br />ing values from a previous day, saving the current values to the <br />SPWRMS database, and resetting current values to the default values. <br /> <br />7.2.2 Current & Default Lag!Loss <br /> <br />Current values for lag and loss are used when the user performs a cur- <br />tailment or relaxation analysis. Default values were provided by SEO <br />and are displayed only for reference. These values represent average <br />conditions based on stream characteristics or from known flows. <br /> <br />Current values are loaded from the database only if a saved set exists <br />for the day when the user starts the application. Otherwise, if there is <br />no set of current values in the database for that day, the application <br />uses the default values. The user may load current values from a pre- <br />vious date, modify them, and save them as the present day's values. <br />Alternatively, current values can be loaded from a past date, modi- <br />fied, and used as values. to perform curtai1ment/relaxation analyses <br />without saving these values to the database as the present day's val- <br />ues. <br /> <br />7.2.3 Loading LaglLoss Data <br /> <br />To load lag/loss values from a previous date, type the date from <br />which to load data in the Load Values From field and cli4Jhe Load <br />bunon. If no set of values are available for the specified day, you will <br />be notified and the current set will remain unchanged. Otherwise, the <br />data from that day will be loaded and displayed and can then be used <br />to perform curtailment and relaxation analyses. <br /> <br />Because the designated South Platte reaches cross district boundaries <br />and because all reaches are used in curtailment / relaxation analysis, <br />the SPWRMS application does not separate the reaches out by water <br />district. Since the Lag/Loss Editor loads and displays all reaches <br />within the entire basin, the database access time for loading and sav- <br />ing these data may be longer than anticipated. <br /> <br />7.2.4 Editing Current Lag!Loss Data <br /> <br />To edit the currentlag/loss values for a reach, double.dick on the <br />reach in the Lag/Loss Editor dialog to bring up the Edit Lag/Loss <br />Reach dialog. <br /> <br />"'7,,....
