5.0 The Edit Menu

pie, diversion of water previously stored in Caner Lake would be
accounted for as a storage delivery even though the original source
for the water was transbasin.

Storaee Relea~p- Diversions

Storage Release water has been released from an upstream reser-
voir. An example of this type of diversion occurs at the Burlington
headgate where water is divened that was released from Duck Lake.
Releases from reservoirs into the river should not be recorded in this
column but in the Flow columns described earlier.

Total Diversions

The total of all the Direct Diversion and Storage Diversion col-
umns (in cfs) is calculated by the SPWRMS application, and entered
in the Total Diversions columns. Note that these do not accept direct
user input.

Storage

Entries are made in these columns to reflect the storage in on-stream
reservoirs. Actual diversions into storage should be recorded in the
Diversion columns. Storage values are recorded in units of acre-feet.

Chan~e in Storape

This is the change in the volume of storage from the previous day.
This figure can be derived by subtracting the previous day's Water
Information SheetTotal Storage value from today's Total Storage
value. This column will usually match (with modification to account
for the difference in units) with the diversion amount recorded for the
reservoir in the Diversion Total Storage column. However, this col-
umn allows for the possible release of water simultaneously for one
purpose while storing for a different purpose.

Total Storaee

This value reflects the total amount of water in storage. This figure
can be indirectly obtained from the measured reservoir gage height
and the stage capacity curve for the reservoir.

Comments

In the Comment column on the Water Information Sheet, enter any
information that might be helpful in understanding the entries in the
other columns.
