The Sterling Irrigation Company operates the diversion and supplies water to 88 shareholders for <br />irrigation \v1thin the 7,400-acre ser....ice area. The diversion and headgate are in poor condition and the <br />Company plans to rehabilitate them in 1999. The average annual volume diverted is 23.563 acre-feet. The <br />Sterling Irrigation Company is a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit corporation registered in the State <br />of Colorado. Jack Odor P.E. of G.A.S.P. has been retained by the Company. and has completed the <br />feasibility study. Proposed funding for the project consists of a ewcs loan for $318.583. and $35,400 <br />from the Company. A $1.400 CWCB grant from the Severance Tax.
