Excavation and Grading Work from the Dams Right Abutment

Proiect DescriDtion

This small dam rehabilitation project commenced in March 199-l by the owners of the
\Vamsley Caulc Company. The project consisted of replacing the reservoir's outlet structure and
Ilattenmg the dam's upstream slope. Smith Geotechnical Engineering (SGE) of Fl. Collins
completed the project design. The project was constructed under the supervision of SGE and the
State Engineer's Office by the owner's own forces. The owner completed the work after several
years of elTart bet\l.:een ranching, fanning and construction. The Stale Engineer's Office recently
approved the reservoir's tilling plan and substantial completion was June 30. 1999,
