The design capacity for the ditch
and the siphon is 75 cfs.

(D) Gurley Ditch minor improvements.

The current condition of Gurley Ditch is quite good
minor improvements are proposed for its rehabilitation.
has a 400 cfs capacity and is about 16.5 miles long.

and only
The di tch

(E) Cone Intake Ditch Improvements

The Cone Reservoir intake ditch currently extends to the
south from the reservoir for about 5 miles to the diversion points
on the northwest flank of Lone Cone Mountain. Proposed improve-
ments to the ditch would increase the capacity and reduce the
annual maintenance. The ditch length is about 9.8 miles.

(F) Lilylands Intake Ditch.

.

The ditch would connect the enlarged Lilylands Reservoir to
the rest of the project features east of the reservoir and allow
project water to be used in the Lilylands system. It is estimated
that a 50 cfs flow in the ditch may be enough to fill tho ~
Lilylands Reservoir. ~~

The construction of the intake ditch is expected to increase
the reliability of the water supply in the Lilylands system. The
ditch is about 13 miles long.

(G) Lilylands Reservoir Enlargement.

A significant enlargement of the Lilylands Reservoir is
proposed which would increase its present capacity of 700
acre-feet by 5800 acre-feet. The maximum embankment height is
expected to be increased to 100-feet.

(H) Lilylands Canal Improvements.

The Lilylands Canal extends north from the Lilylands
Reservoir to a diversion box near the upper end of Hamilton
Canyon. The diversion box then releases water to the Lilylands
Canal's south and north laterals. The Lilylands Canal is about 18
miles long and the south and north laterals are about 5.5 miles
and 8.5 miles long, respectively. The majority of the canal and
laterals are in need of repair and rehabilitation. The proposed
improvements include repairs and possible enlargement throughout
the length of the canal and the laterals.

Water Rights

The San Miguel Water Conservancy District owns conditional
. storage rights on the San Miguel River for Saltado Reservoir

-3-
