<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />federal mineral lands leasing act of FebrualY 2S 1920 as <br />amended, except those nmeys described in sectim 34-63-io4 <br />shall be deposited by the state treasurer into a special fmd ~ <br />be known as the mineral leasing fund, which is hereby created <br />for ~e by state agencies, pt.i>lic schools, and politicai <br />subdiV1Sims of the state as described in this sectim for <br />planning, constructim, and maintenance of pl.i)lic facilities and <br />for public services. <br /> <br />(b) In the appropriation and use of such nmeys, priority <br />shall be given to those pmlic schools and political sti>divisions <br />socially or economically inpacted by the development, processing, , <br />or energy conversim of fuols and minerals leased mder said <br />federal mineral lands leasing act. <br /> <br />(Z) 1Wenty-five percent of all l1Dleys described in <br />paragraph (a) of sti>sectim (1) of this section, together with <br />any funds derived from the application of paragraph (b) of <br />smsection (3) of this sectim, shall, upcn receipt, be paid into <br />the public school fund to be used for the support of the public <br />schools of this state. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(3) (a) Fifty percent of alll1Dleys described in paragraph <br />(a) of sti>sectim (1) of this sectim shall, upon receipt, be <br />paid to each of those respective . COlBlties of this state from <br />which the federal leasing nmey is derived in proportim to the <br />lIIOO\.U1t of said federal leasing nmey derived from each. of the <br />respective counties and used by said counties for the pmposes <br />described in sti>sectim (1) of this sectim; except that no <br />single COIDlty shall be paid an lIIOO\.U1t in excess of two hundred <br />thousand dollars in any calendar year under the provisims of <br />this paragraph (a). <br /> <br />(b) Any balance of said fifty percent remaining after <br />payment to the several counties as provided in paragraph (a) of <br />this subsectim (3) shall be paid by the state treasurer, m or <br />before the last .day of Decenber of each year, into the state <br />public school fund and used for the support of the pwlic <br />schools. <br /> <br />(4) Ten percent of all nmeys described in paragraph (a) of <br />sti>sectim (1) of this section shall, upon receipt, be paid into <br />the Colorado water conservation board construction fund created <br />by sectim 37-60-121, C.R.S. 1973, for appropriatim by the <br />general assembly pursuant to the provisions of section 37-60-12Z, <br />C.R.S. 1973, and for use in accordance with the purposes and <br />priorities described in sti>section (1) of this section. <br /> <br />(5) (a) The remaining fifteen percent of all nmeys <br />described in paragraph (a) of sti>section (1) of this sectim <br />shall, Upal receipt, be paid into the local goverrunent mineral <br />impact fund, which is hereby created.
