<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Flood plains and draiP3De. We are using soil conservation map kits for terrain study. We are using <br />the Contour Line Training Kits and Plastic Tanks purchased with grant money for teaching <br />contour mapping. My students all entered the Soil Conservation District poster contest and one of <br />the students won first place in the contest <br /> <br />Sources of water - swface and subsurface. Students have walked the drainage basin behind the <br />new middle school. When the weather breaks this spring we will have a project to map this basin. <br /> <br />Flow measurements. I have not yet purchased the equipment for flow measurement but expect to <br />do so soon. <br /> <br />Colorado Water Laws. I haven't done this yet <br /> <br />Household water conswnption. I expect to start this in the spring of 1995 <br /> <br />Aquifers. Now that Woodmoor Water and Sanitation has groundwater flow mode~ I will <br />introduce it into the cuniculwn during the study of ecosystems later this year. <br /> <br />Water sources in Woodmoor Water and Sanitation District I havm't done this yet but wiD do it <br />later this year. <br /> <br />In addition, I am part of the team worldng an application for the National Science Foundation <br />program titled Prqject GLOBE.
