The 1-25 segment between 201h and Speer is
in a cut condition to the north and enclosed to
the south by ramps and buildings. The cut
slope on the north side contains a fair amount
of soil moisture on which an Urban landscape
treatment can capitalize, Existing plant materi-
al in this area is extensive. Addition 01 large
deciduous trees would compliment the road-
side.

Blvd, is slated to receive Urban landscaping to
continue the landscape treatment started In
lower downtown and extended across 1-25 to
the north.

It is recommended that landscape treatments
enlarge the existing plant groupings wilhin the
interchange and introduce Urban landscape
treatments to the outer slopes.
