4. WATER REUSE SYSTEMS, BOTH POTABLE AND NONPOTABLE

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Water and Sanitation District does not have
the necessary infrastructure to engage in any reuse system for
either potable or nonpotable water. Moreover, the District does
not have adequate funds available for the major investment of
capital which would be necessary to construct water reuse
facilities.

The District is a distributer of finished water produced by the
Denver Water Department. The Water Service Agreement (Master
Meter) with Denver contains a section on reuse of Board Water
that reads as follows:

"The Board's policy is to encourage the efficient use of
water throughout the area served water by the Board. Ken
Caryl has the right and is encouraged to make application
for reuse of water for use in parks and recreation areas.
Such application(s) shall be subject to a separate agreement
between Ken Caryl and the Board."

__________~-L__~___

8
