1. WATER-EFFICIENT FIXTURES AND APPLIANCES, INCLUDING
TOILETS, URINALS, SHOWERHEADS, AND FAUCETS.

This element of the District's Water Conservation Plan is
addressed in full in the Denver Water Department's Conservation
Master Plan. The District Board of Directors, by executing the
Water Service Agreement (Master Meter), has agreed to assist the
Denver Water Board in implementing Denver Water's Conservation
Master Plan. A copy of the Conservation Master Plan is attached
hereto and incorporated into this plan by reference as attachment
Appendix I.

The Inclusion Agreement by and between Ken-Caryl Ranch Water and
Sanitation District and First City Realty Investment Corp., dated
November 18, 1993 for the Chatfield Green property, included a
section requiring the developer to install low flow fixtures- (see
Attachment I).

The District by executing the Water Service Agreement (Master
Meter) agreed to be governed by the Charter Provisions, the
Operating Rules and the Engineering Standards of the Denver Board
of Water Commissioners. Chapter 12 of the Operating Rules of the
Board of Water Commissioners, City and County of Denver,
addresses water conservation and requires compliance with Denver
Water's Conservation Master Plan for irrigation uses of water and
the installation of water conservation devices in certain
industrial facilities (see Attachment II).

The District is located within Jefferson County and the Building
Codes adopted by the County are applied to all construction
within the District. Chapter 4 of the Uniform Plumbing Code
requires the installation of 1.6 gallon per flush water closets,
1.0 gallon per flush urinals, and 2.5 gallons per minute faucets
and showerheads (see Attachment III) .

5
