Initiate a turf management program for the Parks Department using <br />the data collected above. Water use goals are 30 inches of applied <br />water per year for bluegrass, 25 inches per year for turf-type tall <br />fescue and 20 inches per year for landscape plants. <br /> <br />3. Encourage Brighton School District to use the same turf <br />management program as the Parks Department. <br /> <br />4. Compile resource list of nurseries who stock low water-use plants <br />and turf and provide that information to water customers. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Establish an annual contest for best Xeriscape landscape. Judging <br />will be done by Parks Department staff. The best landscapers will <br />be feMnred in tbe loc"1 neWSP"peLand.prizes could be awarded. <br /> <br />Water Conservation Incentives <br />Water conservation incentives encourage water users to change their behavior <br />regarding water conservation. The programs listed below are designed to change <br />customer behavior: <br /> <br />I.
