Data collected on the water use assessment fonns will be trans- <br />ferred to a spreadsheet to determine water use savings and ben- <br />efits. Participant's past three years water consumption and <br />consumption for a year following the retrofit, will be used to <br />make calculations. Calculations to be made are: <br /> <br />· Total water/dollars saved per month for each participant <br /> <br />· Total water/dollars saved for the average participant <br /> <br />. Total water/dollars saved for all project participants <br /> <br />· Average expected savings for each type of fixture replaced <br /> <br />· Costfbenefit analysis for various fixture replacements <br /> <br />. Potential savings if all homes in the Loveland service area <br />installed retrofit devices <br /> <br />. Sewer bill savings for individual residences will be in- <br />cluded in the calculated savings dollar amount <br /> <br />These statistics will be compared with a control group of 500 <br />customers who did not participate in the program. This control <br />group will be picked to reflect the demographic characteristics <br />of the participant group, The relationships between water use <br />and lot size, family size and other characteristics also will be in- <br />vestigated. <br /> <br />Page 2 <br />
