Investigate incentives for developers and customers to implement
water conservation measures, including, but not limited to:

(1)

Goal setting for water and sewer customers via utility bills
or alternative means.

(2)

Water tap fees that recognize permanent reduction in water
demand.

Xeriscape plant materials and soil preparation.

Retrofit plumbing devices in existing buildings.

g. Complete residential water audit pilot project - evaluate program
for future continuance.

h. Prepare a Xeriscape ordinance for City Council to consider for
adoption.

suppliers of Arvada's existing ULV ordinance and to enforce its
provisions in 1992 covering all new construction in the city
(Building Inspection).
