<br />The District will require that the Engineering Standards of the <br />Denver Water Department as amended be adhered to within the <br />District. <br /> <br />The District will require that the Operating Rules and Conservation <br />Plan of the Denver Water Department as applicable be adhered to <br />within the District. <br /> <br />The District will require that the terms of agreements, laws, <br />ordinances and codes are adhered to within the District. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.90 INCENTIVES TO IMPLEMENT WATER USE <br />EFFICIENCY TECHNIQUES <br /> <br />In accordance with the Denver Water Conservation Plan and service <br />agreement, the District will inform citizens and the general public <br />of incentives available for the implementation of water use <br />efficiency techniques from Denver Water or other sources. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.91 REBATES TO CUSTOMERS TO ENCOURAGE THE INSTALLATION OF <br />WATER USE EFFICIENCY MEASURES <br /> <br />The District will inform and assist District customers concerning <br />rebates available for the installation of water use efficient <br />measures such as low volume toilets, low flow fixtures and <br />appliances and water efficient landscape and xeriscape <br />installations. <br /> <br />The District has determined that it would not be cost effective to <br />provide from District funds incentives or rebates to District <br />customers to replace or install water efficient fixtures and <br />appliances or water saving devices. The District will calculate an <br />estimated saving to customers installing such devices, fixtures and <br />appliances. <br /> <br />SECTION 4.00 ADDITIONAL MEASURES <br /> <br />The District will evaluate the Water Conservation Plan annually and <br />amend the Plan as necessary. Input from the customers of the <br />District and the public in general, changes in the Denver Water <br />Conservation Plan, directives from the State Office of Water <br />Conservation, new methodology and technology will be considered in <br />amending the Plan. Public notice will be given and public comments <br />will be solicited for any major change to the Plan. <br /> <br />District customers with an unusually high usage period(s) compared <br />to seasonal average will be identified and notified by the District <br />to determine the variant use. Information and assistance with the <br />leak detection will be provided. <br /> <br />18 <br />
