<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />o Announcement in the "High Plains Regional Library Service System" Newsletter, <br />o Publish a simple" bill stuffer" sized brochure that would be distributed in LTWD <br />billings and could be included in other regional water suppliers water bills. <br />o Post public service announcements on the local cable TV services ( Scripts). <br />o Work with the cable TV providers to produce a public service filler that would air <br />on all of the channels as a commercial, Scripts cable would provide the air time <br />and do the production at cost ( +/- $100,00), <br /> <br />Community involvement: We are working to involve the local gardening club in organizing the <br />" grand opening" , We will ask the local greenhouses and nurseries to help publicize the library <br />resource as well as asking them to put on educational seminars and displays at the library relating <br />to low water use landscaping, We will work on the coordination of these ideas after funding is in <br />place for the library resource, <br /> <br />Aeencv involvement: Currently we have commitments for involvement monetarily and in the <br />form of in- kind services from the following agencies: <br />, Little Thompson Water District <br />. Berthoud Public Library <br />, Scripts Howard Cable <br /> <br />We hope to involve the following agencies through the use of" bill stuffers", We will ask <br />the agency to pay for the cost of the stuffers and send them out in regular water service billings. <br />The grant funds would be used to produce the brochure. <br />Longs Peak water District <br />,North Carter Lake Water District <br />,Town ofBerthoud <br />,Town ofJohnstown <br />.Town of Mead <br />,Town of Milliken <br />,City of Loveland <br /> <br />We hope to involve the public libraries the regional communities in the project by sharing <br />the resources through the High Plains Regional Library Service System and by distributing the <br />brochures in the libraries, <br /> <br />Project evaluation: We propose to use the Berthoud Public Library computer system to track <br />the usage of the resources and publish a report on the number of times each individual item is <br />checked out and how the activity level relates to the frequency of the advertisements and the time <br />of year. It is possible that a paper could be prepared for presentation at the regionaV national <br />A WW A conference or for publication in the A WW A journal and other appropriate publications. <br />
