The program will be publicized with the <br />1996 Drinking Water Week activities, A more aggressive program for <br />distribution is planned for 1997, The home water audit kits will be <br />distributed to all of the 5th grade classes in Broomfield, Each class will <br />receive a water conservation presentation and demonstration of the water <br />audit. Kits will be given to each student with instructions to perform the <br />audit at home. <br /> <br />~1 <br />~J <br /> <br />A showerhead rebate program is planned for 1997, The program will help <br />accelerate the replacement of old showerheads with the new water- <br />efficient showerheads required by the Energy Conser vollor! Ac.:t of 1992, <br />The 1997 budget request will include $5000, This will enable us to <br />provide a $5 rebate per showerhead for up to 1000 showerheads in 1997, <br /> <br />6.0 Five-Year Water Conservation Implementation Plan <br /> <br />The following section concludes this plan summarizing the ongoing programs <br />and by providing a target schedule and suggested steps for implementing the <br />new conservation measures selected.
