Seope of Semces <br /> <br />The Project consists of the Contractor purchasing a comp.1ter system to track each individual water user supplied by the <br />Contractor. The Project includes establishing a database by which the Contractor can provide a monthly and annual summary <br />of the amount of water used by the customers of the Contractor. lbrough the development of this database system the Contractor <br />will be able to detect domestic water leaks on each water meter that is supplied by the Contractor. The Project will provide an <br />incentive to each water user by using a computer to establish a history of usage, and provide an incentive for water consumption <br />under a specified minimum in the future. The Project goals include: increasing customer awareness of the effects of water <br />conservation devices, extending the useful life of the Contractoc's water system. and to rellecting data for evaluation of future <br />programs. <br /> <br />The Contractor will promote the project and monitor for water savings. The Contractor will encourage participation in the Project <br />by starting with an initial press release to the local newspapers. Brochures will be developed and flyers describing the project <br />and how 10CQ), residents can participate and lower their water consumption. <br /> <br />The Contractoc will have on rec<rd the monthly water usage of each household. This will allow the Contractor to track usage <br />and savings, both water and financial, befcre and after the project. <br /> <br />A Final Report shall be compiled upon completion of the Project. The Fmal Report shall inelode a SOlDIlWy of the Project, <br />discussioo of the Project implementation, Project fmdings and water savings results. The Final Report will not only conclude the <br />Project but will serve as information to be shared with other Colorado communities. <br /> <br />2. Project TIme of Perfonnance <br /> <br />The Project will commence 00 September I, 1993 or upon full and proper execution of this Contract. <br /> <br />The Project will be completed on or before December 1. 1994. However, the Project time of perfcrmance may be extended <br />subject to the mutual agreement of the State and Contractor.
