1997 Utilities Division will request funds to purchase a Fuji Leak Correlator for use in its city-
wide leak detection inspections. A newly revised, rotating, preventive maintenance leak
detection schedule will be implemented. A more efficient schedule of distribution system
flushing, based on historic need, will be initiated.

Seminars on the water ethic and efficient irrigation options (including retrofits) will be
offered, as well as, the existing xeriscape seminar. Public information on these topics
will be developed by staff and made available at the seminars and elsewhere.

Discussion on city-wide water rationing protocol will be initiated.

1998 Environmental Services will determine the feasibility of developing a "Green Business"
Recognition Program as an incentive to encourage businesses to make the COITect
environmental choices in business management. Water conservation will be incorporated
into this program if it is developed.

2005 Completion date of the construction of Guanella Reservoir is reached.
