<br />twelve dollars is paid to the director of <br />finance. (Prior code S 13.04.150) <br /> <br />13.04.150 Emergency use <br />regulations. <br />The city administrator may make other <br />rules and regulations governing the use of <br />water in case of emergency, and when so <br />made, they shall have the force and effect of <br />an ordinance. (prior code S 13.04.160) <br /> <br />13.04.160 Unlawful acts designated. <br />A. No person, finn, association or cor- <br />poration shall: <br />1. Without first obtaining the written <br />consent and approval of the city council, sell <br />city water or resell city water to any other <br />person or party; <br />2. Without first obtaining the written <br />consent and approval of the water superin- <br />tendent: <br />a. Remove any portion of any service <br />line owned by the city, or the meter, curb- <br />stops and fittings used or formerly used in <br />supplying water to a water user, or <br />b. Open or close any valve, curbstop, <br />fireplug or hydrant, allowing or disallowing <br />- -- - -WltWf-w-fl{)w-g>-OOt~ flow_fromany water <br />line tapped to a city water main; or <br />3. Throw or cast any filth, trash or dele- <br />terious substance into any stream, reservoir, <br />pipe, line, main or drain of the city's water <br />system which may fill or obstruct any por- <br />tion of the water treatment or distribution <br />system or which may pollute the water <br />therein; <br />4. Use water for any purpose other than <br />for a beneficial purpose, or waste water by <br />imprudent or excessive use for any purpose; <br />5. Damage, destroy, impair or steal any <br /> <br />portion of the city's water treatment or <br />distribution facilities; provided that any <br />person who accidentally damages or destroys <br />any portion of the water department's water <br />treatment or distribution facilities, when <br />authorized by the city to operate the facility <br />prior to its being damaged or destroyed or, <br />without such prior authorization, who dam- <br />aged or destroyed the facility during an <br />emergency which threatened to cause serious <br />damage to a water user's real or personal <br />property shall not be guilty of an unlawful <br />act under this subparagraph if the water <br />department's costs to repair or replace the <br />damaged or destroyed facility are reimbursed <br />not later than 30 days following such repair <br />or replacement. <br />6. Draw or use water from a fire hydrant <br />in violation of any of the provisions of <br />Section 13.04.130; <br />7. Use or permit the use of water depart- <br />ment water: <br />a. For any purpose other than that for <br />which the water service was initially ac- <br />quired, or <br />b. Use or permit the use of the water <br />department water to or for D10re than one <br />dwelling structure, including but not limited <br />to mobile homes and garages and outbuild- <br />ings used or usable as dwelling places, <br />through one service line or water meter; <br />9. Modify in any manner a curbstop, box <br />or lid connected to the city water system in <br />a manner not specified by the rules and <br />regulations promulgated by the city includ- <br />ing, but not limited to, tapping or otherwise <br />
