The City Manager has the authority to Institute rules and regulations affecting <br />the uses and times or prohibit, if necessary, all nondomestic uses of water. Such rules and regulations will <br />remain in effect until the shonage has ended. <br /> <br />FUTURE CONSERVATION EFFORTS <br /> <br />The Office of Water Conservation annually evaluates existing programs. Public comment and program <br />acceptance Is monitored and feasible changes Implemented on an ongoing basis. Based on this evaluation <br />process and public comment, the Conservation office Is considering expanding the current conservation <br />program to include: alternative turfgrass plots, expansion of the residential water audit program, Implement a <br />master composting program, modification of utilities bill to reflect current and last year's water consumption <br />and weather Information, Initiate a drip buster program, and large Irrigator monitoring program.
