<br />Seasonal Variations in Water Use <br /> <br />Daily water use can vary significantly depending on the season, in response to weather <br />conditions. In characterizing water use patterns, it is useful to distinguish water use by its sea- <br />sonal components. Seasonal uses vary from month to month in response to weather condi- <br />tions and other influences that are seasonal in nature. Examples are lawn watering and <br />cooling. Nonseasonal uses remain relatively constant from month to month because these <br />uses are not sensitive to weather conditions. Examples are toilet flushing and washing ma- <br />chine use, Table 24 shows Loveland's seasonal variation of water use. <br /> <br />Table 24.
