Quarterly bills are due upon receipt. .If lhe bill is not paid by 8:00 a.m. on the 25th day of the <br />second month of a quarter, a $10.00 administrative fee v-.ill be assessed. If the ENTIRE BILL is <br />not paid by the 15th day of the third month of a quarter, a reminder notice v-.ill be sent. If the <br />ENTIRE BILL is not paid by 8:00 a.m. on the 25th day of the third month of a quarter, service will <br />be disconnected. A $10.00 reconnect charge will be collected before the serivce is resumed. <br />2. All charges for service are against the property and the OV>11er of the property is responsible <br />for the arrangements for payment of these charges. ~uch charges shall constitute a perpetual <br />and continuing lien upon such property until such charges shall have been paid in full. It is very <br />important that each new occupant sign for service in order to keep our records accurate. All <br />proration is between OV>11ers, property managers, renters, etc. (C.R.S. 32-1-1001U). <br />3. A $15.00 fee shall be charged for all returned checks. This charge v-.ill be assessed, plus any <br />other charges that the District incurs for handling the check. <br />4. Irrigation hours shall be daylight hours - 30 minutes before sunup until 30 minutes after <br />sundoV>11. Odd numbered houses irrigate on odd numbered days of the month. Even numbered <br />houses inigate on even numbered days of the month. Flat rate water customers may not inigate <br />on the 31st of the month. <br />5. A meter shall be installed V'klen a house has 3 consecutive late charoe disconnects. <br />6. Flat rate customers V'klo violate the inigation regulations or wasle water will be issued a <br />violation ticket. A water user V'klo receives 3 violations v-.ithin a 12 month period or 4 violations <br />within a 24 month period shall have a meter installed. <br />7. When material such as concrete, or other hard material is placed over Security Water lines, <br />water meters or curb stops, the cost of removal, repair or replacement of such material shall be <br />passed on to the property OV>11er. The cost of removing vehicles to gain access shall also be <br />charged to the property. Refer to Chapter 4 - Security Water District Regulations, "Service <br />Lines". <br />8. SEWER ONLY ACCOUNTS - When the quarterly charge is not paid by 8:00 a.m. on the 25th <br />day of the second month of the quarter, an administrative fee of $10.00 shall be assessed. A <br />reminder notice shall be sent on the 15th day of the 3rd month and if the ENTIRE bill is not paid <br />by 8:00 a.m: on the 25th day of the 3rd month of the quarter, a fee of $75.00 shall be assessed <br />in lieu of disconnection. <br />9. In the event a user disputes the accuracy or amount of a billing, the user shall notify the <br />Districts' offices, in writing, v-.ithin ten (10) calendar days of receipt of the billing in dispute. Any <br />notices of dispute received after the ten (10) day period specified v-.ill not be heard and the <br />dispute will be deemed waived. A hearing Vvill be scheduled with the 80ards of Directors to heai <br />the dispute v-.ithin 30 days of filing the writtetl notice of dispute. A determination by the Board of <br />the accuracy and/or adjusted amount of the billing will be final. <br />10. In thee\(ent any user violates any of the rules and/or regulations of the Districts, the Boards <br />of Directors, in addition to all other legal remedies available to them may order the user <br />disconnected from the water and sanitation systems. <br />11. The' Districts specifically reserve the right to use any and all available means to collect any <br />delinquent amounts owed to the Districts. This may include, but is not limited to, certifying the <br />delinqu!lnt amounts to the county treasurer and collecting said amounts as taxes, pursuant to <br />C.R.S. 32-1-1101(e). <br />12. We cannot give any refunds. However, in certain circumstances, we may give a credit. We <br />suggest, V'klen closing on the sale or purchase of property, that all charges for water and sewer <br />service be settled at the closing. ~ <br />
