<br />- <br /> <br />Back!ITound <br /> <br />Any entity that supplies 2,000 acre feet annually must submit a water <br />conservation plan for approval by the boards of CWCB and CWPDA in order to <br />receive financial assistance. In preparation of the June 4, 1996 deadline the staff <br />of OWC has drafted the criteria for development of water conservation plans, <br />criteria for acceptance of water conservation plans and a draft MOD with the <br />CWPDA. (See attachment) <br /> <br />Develooment of Water Conservation Plans <br /> <br />The requirements for development of water conservation plans is outlined in <br />C.R.S.37-60-126. The attached document outlines the requirements and has been <br />accepted by the CWPDA board. (See attachment) <br /> <br />Criteria for Acceotance of Water Conservation Plans <br /> <br />The criteria for acceptance of water conservation plans were based on the <br />requirements for development of water conservation plans in C.R.S. 37-60-126. <br />These criteria have been accepted by the CWPDA board and would provide <br />consistency for each board's approval process of financial assistance. (See <br />attachment) <br /> <br />MOU with the Colorado Water and Power Develooment Authoritv and CWCB <br /> <br />The draft MOD has been guided by Mary Hammond of the CWPDA and Linda <br />Bassi of the Attorney General's Office. The MOD includes the criteria for <br />development and criteria for acceptance of water conservation plans and the <br />reimbursement of direct expenses and staff time in providing services pursuant to <br />this MOD. (See attachment) <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The recommends that the Board approve the criteria for development of water <br />conservation plans, criteria for acceptance of water conservation plans, and the <br />MOD. <br />
