-

.

.

.'

provide an impact that could carry on later to other areas and provide some control that is not

available at this time,

Training of seasonal personal will be necessary because of their limited knowledge and lack of

skill in irrigation, This will provide additional skill for resumes, work knowledge and career

choice/experience for their future,

Track and monitor of this project would include water usage, log of break repair, a water audit at

the site and results at the end of the season on water savings,

In summary, I would like to express what the overall benefits to Cherry Creek State Park would

entail. The head selection allows for replacement of broken products at no charge for a 5 year

period, unconditional. The controller interfaces with products already at use at the site, The

remote adds a capability beyond what exists currently in the park and integrates resource

management at an advanced level. The master valve, flow sensor combination increases the

ability to conserve a precious natural resource immediately when human resources may not be

available at certain hours of the day,

The benefits of such a project will overflow to the community through many avenues, Park

visitors will see the results of water management done at night instead of day time frames, The

crop features will be green and healthy with no apparent waste of water resource when the public

is present, Visitors will not have to constantly become involved in infonning park personnel of

line breaks and run off discrepancies, Good conservation practices usually are infectious to others
