COLO. STRTE VETS. CNTR TEL No.719-852-5110

Nov 16,92 14:29 No.OOS P.03

~

The Action Plan for our agency will include the following.
A water audit for both indoor and outdoors will be conducted by
the Maintenance department by Pee ember 31. 1992. The results will
be tabulated in a report that will be given to the Administrator
by January 31. 1993. This report will make recommendations for
further measures which can be undertaken by the agency based on
available resources. A Conservation Committee will be developed
by the Physical Plant Manager to meet and discuss our plan and
goals, Lhis should be accomplished by December 15, 1992. The
Physical plant Manager will be Chairman and focal point man for
our agency's water conservation efforts.

Our plan needs to be a viable one which is flexible and

evolving. The plan should be reviewed quarterly so that technologies

or methods can be reviewed for possible adaptation.

This agency will adhere to the Water Conservation Act of 1991,
Colorado-HB 91-1154 to meet legislative requirements. It should
be noted at this time, although that this agency has some aniquated
buildings. heating and cooling systems. plumbing fixtures and water
delivery system since the age of our Agency is over one hundred
years. This could cause some major general fund expenditures. which
monies might not be available for these purposes.
