j
:1
]
I
I
I
I
I

HB 1154 CONSERV A nON MEASURE #4

Water Reuse Systems

Description of Conservation Measure:
Water reuse systems, both potable and non-potable

Existing Conditions:
Since March 21, 1984, waste water has been contracted with Ground Water Appropriators of the
South Platte (GASP) for reuse as agricultural water. The contract is on an annual basis. In April
1990 the District submitted to Denver Water a proposal for the treatment of its return flow, but the
project was not considered to be practical by Denver Water. There are no current or future plans to
build a wastewater facility or a facility to produce a non-potable water supply.

Future Implementations:
Due to the size of Willows Water District, it is not practical to consider such an undertaking without
the participation or partnership of Denver Water or other entities.

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

10
