NAME OF LAKE: Horn Lake.

LOCATION: The lake being a naturally occurring body has no
dam. 'l'he lake is located at 38 degs. DO' 20" North Latitude
and 105 clegs. 35' 2011 West Longitude in Custer County, Colorado.
The section lines in this area are largely unsurveyed and so
exact location is impossible. The: natural water elevation is
approximately 11,830 feet. J

SOURCE OF WA'l'ER: Horn Creek as well as snow melt, precipitation
runoff, and other natural sources.

PRIORITY DATE: January 14, 1976, provided, however, that this
right shall be junior to all priorities awarded
in cases filed prior to 1976, and otherwise
junior as provided in CRS 1973, 37-,92-306.

AMOUNT OF WATER: Approximately 218 acre feet.

USE OF ViATER: To insure the maintenance of such mi.nimum flows
as are requ~red to preserve the natural environment to a
reasonable degree.

TOTAL CAPACITY OF LAKE: Approximately 218 acre feet.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED 1'hat Applicant shall install and

maintain such water measurement devices, recording devices,

content gauges and inlet and outlet measurement and recording

devices, as the qase may be, as are deemed essential by the

Office of the State Engineer, and ~he same shall be installed

and operated in accordance with instructions from said Office.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED That copies of this ruling shall

be mailed as provided by statute.
