<br />Ch.478 <br /> <br />WATER AND IRRIGATION <br /> <br />1693 <br /> <br />(2) The board. in addition to the amount allocated to a project to cover <br />the actual cost of construction, may allocate to the project constructed by <br />it, under contract or otherwise. such amounts as may be determined by it <br />for investigating. engineering, inspection, and other expenses, and may pro- <br />vide for the repayment of the same out of the first moneys repayable from <br />the project under the contract for its construction. and such moneys so repaid <br />shall be accounted for within the purpose of making investigations for the <br />development of the water resources of the state. <br /> <br />(3) Contributions of money, property, or equipment may be received from <br />any county, municipality, federal agency, water conservation district. metro- <br />politan water district. conservancy district, water users' association. person, <br />or corporation for use in making investigations, contracting projects. or <br />otherwise carrying out the purposes of sections 37-60-119 to 37-60-123. <br /> <br />Section 3. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds, determines, <br />and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health, and safety. <br /> <br />Approved: March 4, 1977 <br />
