<br />.... <br /> <br />Colorado 1979, as amended by Section 2 of chapter 40S, Session <br />Laws of Colorado 1983, and Section '4 (2) of chapter 344, <br />Session Laws of Colorado 1979, are amended to read: <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />S~ction 4. Project authorizations. (1) Pursuant to <br />section 37-60-122, Colorado Revised Statutes, i913, there are <br />hereby authorized to be constructed from such funds as may <br />become available to the Colorado water conservation board <br />construction fund, in the priority listed as nearly as <br />practicable and with the sums of money listed, plus 'or minus <br />such amounts, if any, as may be justified by unforeseen <br />circumstances or by reason of ordinary fluctuations in land <br />values and construction costs as indicated by cost indices <br />applicable to the type of projetts involved, the following <br />projects: <br /> <br />PrOject <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />Chatfield Project Channel <br />Improvement <br />Closed Basin <br /> <br />$7,500,000 <br /> <br />S88,888 <br />62S,000 <br />1,500,000 <br />200,000 <br />90,000 <br />$4,198,888 <br />$4,91S,OOO <br /> <br />e" <br />,~<jil <br />." ;' <br /> <br />Beaver Park <br />Larkspur <br />Rio Grande Reservoir <br />Total <br /> <br />(2) The Chatfield project channel improvement and the <br />Rio Grande Reservoir project authorized by this section shall <br />be constructed as first priorities from the first moneys made <br />available to the Colorado water conservation board <br />construction fund pursuant to section 39-26-123.1, Colorado <br />Revised Statutes. i9137 The funds made available for the <br />Chatfield project channel improvement, WHICH SHALL BE <br />NONREIMBURSABLE, may be expended only through a contract with <br />the United States by which the United States agrees to provide <br />not less than one-half of the total cost of said channel <br />improvement. FUNDS FOR THE CHATFIELD PROJECT CHANNEL <br />IMPROVEMENT MAY ALSO BE EXPENDED FOR ,RECREATIONAL BOATING <br />CHUTES AT THE BROWN DITCH AND UNION AVENUE PIERS. FUNDS FOR <br />THE CLOSED BASIN PROJECT, WHICH SHALL BE NONREIMBURSABLE, MAY <br />ALSO BE EXPENDED FOR RELATED RECREATIONAL FACILITIES PURSUANT <br />TO SECTION 37-60-119, COLORADO REVISED STATUTES, INCLUDING <br />FACILITIES FOR THE HEAD-SAN LUIS LAKES RECREATION AREA. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Section 1 (1) (a) and (c) of chapter 405, <br />Session Laws of Colorado 1983, are amended to read: <br /> <br />Section 1. Project authorizations.
