<br />es <br /> <br />county to refer the landowner to first seek annexation by <br />the municipality before the application may be considered <br />by the county. If the municipality gives notice of its intent <br />to annex such land, specifies the process for obtaining <br />approval of the development application shall be governed <br />by the municipality's master plan, regulations, standards, <br />and procedures, and any approval granted by the <br />municipality shall be binding on the county. <br />In connection with any development application in any <br />unincorporated area that is within the urban service area of <br />a municipality, authorizes counties that have entered into <br />intergovernmental agreements with municipalities to adopt <br />by reference the municipality's uniform development <br />standards and requirements where the development or <br />redevelopment contemplated by the development <br />jurisdiction is likely to impact the municipality. <br />Specifies the Act shall not be construed as giving any <br />county any authority to adopt by reference the development <br />standards of a particular municipality in connection with <br />territory located outside the urban service area of the <br />municipality. <br />In connection with requirements in the Act pertaining to <br />development applications: <br />. With specified exceptions, requires a planning jurisdiction <br />to process and make a final decision with respect to any <br />development application relating to land within a <br />designated urban service area within a specified schedule. <br />Specifies that maximum processing times shall be tolled in <br />specified situations. <br />Provides rules governing applications for the development <br />of land located within the planning jurisdiction's urban <br />servIce area. <br />Authorizes a planning jurisdiction to condition approval of <br />a land development application upon a site specific <br />payment or dedication requirement in specified <br />circumstances. <br />In connection with requirements of the Act pertaining to dispute <br />resolution: <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Provides that the dispute resolution procedures set forth in <br />the Act shall be the exclusive remedy under state law for <br />any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the <br />Act, and enumerates certain claims, without limitation, that <br />are specified as arising out of or relating to the Act. <br />Enumerates certain claims and proceedings that shall not be <br />governed by the dispute resolution procedures specified in <br />the Act. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />1225 <br />
