installers of renewable energy source property and energy and

water conservation property for the district furnish a

3 performance bond on a district project;

(V) The certification of the performance standards of

5 any renewable energy source property or energy or water

conservation property that the district provides or contracts

for the provision of within the district;

(VI) The removal of any renewable energy source property
or energy or water conservation property leased or sold by the
district for payment default and the establishment of

requirements and conditions, including bond, for the removal

of such property if leased or sold under an agreement with the
district.

(b) For the purposes of this subsection (2.5),

"renewab 1 e energy source property" means central i zed or

16 decentralized heating and cooling and decentralized electrical

17 generation works and distribution systems for the distribution

18

of heat,

cooling,

and electrical power obtained from

19 geothermal resources, solar and photovoltaic energy, wind

20 energy, or hydroelectric or renewable biomass resources,

21

but excepting

including waste and cogenerated heat,

22 centralized electric light or gas systems or plants, and water

23 and sewer treatment systems, facilities, and distribution

24 1 ines.
